🌿 La Maison Hibernia
🪷 Balcony & Lap Pool
The balcony extends from the living room and overlooks the lap pool, with the stone zen garden unfolding just beyond. Framed by tropical plants and hand-carved details, it offers a tranquil vantage point where water, stone, and greenery meet in quiet balance. Open to the island breeze, it’s the perfect spot for breakfast in the morning light, working at a laptop, or dining as the garden begins to glow at dusk.
The lap-style pool stretches alongside the stone garden, dotted with sculptures gathered from Asia — a serene reflection of the Maison’s artistic soul. Measuring 32 feet in length, it’s ideal for morning swims or leisurely exercise, and softly lit for peaceful moonlit dips.
🪴 Living Room & Lounge
Once part of the former restaurant’s dining area, the living room retains its generous proportions and welcoming spirit. Large sliding doors open onto the balcony, allowing air and light to move freely through the space and connect the interior to the pool and gardens beyond.
🥢 Kitchen
The former professional kitchen has been reimagined for guests — simple, functional, and full of character, with details that quietly echo Hibernia’s culinary past. Designed for relaxed island living, it blends practicality with warmth. Enjoy preparing meals with a curated selection of Hibernia’s restaurant ceramics, Christofle silver cutlery, and delicate wine glasses — bringing a little of the restaurant’s culinary heritage to your own table.
💫 Master Bedroom 1 (in the former Art Gallery)
Entered through classic wooden French doors beside the pool, the first master bedroom offers a quiet retreat connected to its own lounge area. The space feels open yet cocooned, with soft light, Balinese wall carvings, and a soothing palette of natural tones. The ensuite bathroom blends stone textures with handcrafted elements, creating a warm, tactile environment that reflects the home’s artistic spirit.
🌸 Ensuite Bedroom 2
The second master bedroom is a space filled with personality and story. Antique wood pieces, Far Eastern art, and soft natural light create an atmosphere of authenticity and warmth. The ensuite bathroom, lined with mosaic tiles in golden hues, continues the home’s dialogue between art and comfort — echoing its connection to Asia and its enduring sense of peace.
🌴 Gardens & Surroundings
Every path and sculpture in the garden tells a story — of travels, craftsmanship, and years of collecting. Stones gathered from across Asia rest among flamboyant trees and palms, creating a peaceful rhythm between earth and art. The result is a serene landscape where you can pause, breathe, and simply be.
La Maison Hibernia is a spacious 2,500-square-foot villa set within three-quarters of an acre of lush, park-like gardens adorned with mature trees, stone sculptures, and shaded benches. The entire ground-floor villa is a private retreat, with a garden terrace and lap pool oriented toward gentle sea views.
The owners’ apartment is located above a section of the villa in a completely separate space, ensuring guests’ privacy while allowing them to be nearby should assistance be needed. The property also includes a small separate house within the garden. The front garden and entrance are shared with the owners, who live quietly on the property.
Every detail has been considered to preserve a sense of privacy, independence, and understated elegance — offering guests a serene and self-contained island experience.
